My experience learning English throughout my life has not been the best, I am one of those people who find it very difficult to understand and speak it. I also find it difficult to give myself the time I should to learn the language.
At the university I have improved a little bit my fear of the language, but still it has been hard. The teachers have been really good, I just find it hard to get the message.
The blog activity has been very useful to learn to understand and read coherently each paragraph published by my classmates. Even though I have to improve many areas with my relationship with English, such as understanding and listening well to questions in English, when they ask me questions in English my brain freezes completely and I can't understand the question and I end up getting the wrong word.
Also English is always present in my days: listening to music, reading articles and researches, movies and series, others.
I sometimes watch movies in English and without subtitles, especially when I know the dialogues of the characters well, as in the case of Shrek.
Listening to podcasts in English has also become a regular part of my life, studying and listening to English podcasts in the background has helped me understand the language.
I hope to leave with confidence and good knowledge this year when I finish English, because it is something I would like to learn to perfection.
I agree that it was very useful to write blogs and share with classmates, it was a good experience!
